Animal Welfare Society Mother’s Day Flower Sale May 10th The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County is having their annual Mother’s Day Flower Sale on Friday, May 10th from 1:00-6:00 at Dominos Pizza in Shepherdstown. This will be a one-day sale only, unless it rains. The rain date will be the following day, Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 – 2:00 at the same location. There will be a variety of plants including: geraniums, new guinea impatiens, begonias and beautiful hanging baskets. Also, in celebrating Shepherdstown’s Bee City USA affiliation, AWS will offer a variety of pollinator friendly plants. AWS merchandise will also be available with all proceeds to benefit the Animal Welfare Society.
