Description
Make a Difference: Volunteer for the "Get A Life!" Program
We invite you to join us in making a lasting impact on the next generation! The Chamber is partnering with Jefferson County Middle Schools and the West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office for the "Get A Life!" program, a hands-on financial literacy experience designed to teach students real-world budgeting, career choices, and financial decision-making.
No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to engage and encourage students as they navigate real-life financial scenarios. Join us in shaping the future by volunteering for this rewarding experience!
Make a real difference in our community by partnering with the Chamber for the “Get-A-Life!” Financial Education Program — a hands-on simulation that teaches local students the importance of budgeting, decision-making, and financial responsibility.
📢We’re inviting Chamber members to join us as 2026 “Get-A-Life!” Partners at the Copper Level ($250).
✨ Copper Partnership – $250 (2 available)
Your partnership helps provide morning refreshments and lunch each day for our volunteers and staff who make this program possible. It’s a great way to support the event while showing appreciation for those who give their time to inspire students.
As a Copper Partner, you’ll receive:
- Recognition as a “Get-A-Life!” Business Partner
- Logo displayed on promotional materials at time of commitment
- Opportunity to volunteer and connect directly with students
Together, we can help shape confident, financially savvy young adults — and show them the strength and heart of our local business community.
