Chuck Ellison Distinguished Citizen of the Year

Criteria for the award:

  • Nominee should be a citizen of Jefferson County who, over the years, has consistently served our county with outstanding ability and dedication.
  • Nominee should be a person who has voluntarily given their time, talent, and energies without remuneration.
  • Nominee does not necessarily need to be a chamber member, but should be a person who has made a commitment to the well-being and good quality of life in Jefferson County.

Nomination Procedure:

  • Submit a nomination with nominee's name, address, email address, and details concerning the nominees civic life along with activities and accomplishments that make the nominee worthy to be named a Distinguished Citizen. Please include your name, address, and email address as well.
